I really thought I was on to something big. The China Study. Turns out it's just another diet plan. WFPB - whole food plant based. The research that the author talks about is impressive and compelling. But I feel like saying "This is not my first rodeo." I've read a blog or two and a book or two about various nutritional approaches, and this seems like more of the same... or am I just being reluctant to give up meat and animal products?
He talks a little about autoimmune diseases in the book, though not specifically about Crohn's. What he says seems to lead me to believe that it boils down to leaky gut.
